Thank you to our community and extended family and friends who came together for a successful Jogathon this year! From Pre-K to 8th grade, students showed up to run for a cause and had fun along the way! The sun came out, the DJ was spinning fun tunes, and popsicles were doled out in celebration of a beautiful event- all to support our school! Together we raised a little over $40k! Our Saint John School 8th graders hosted an all day retreat with 2 other north county Catholic 8th graders. We welcomed Notre Dame Academy and Saint Patricks School to our parish hall for a day of faith and service together. Assisting in leadership for the day, two alumni Saint John School high school seniors also joined in on the day. Together, they created blessing bags for the less fortunate, made cookies for those who show solidarity (firefighters, nurses, police officers and teachers), and cared for God's creation in making dog toys for the Helen Woodward Foundation. Great job North County San Diego Catholic 8th Graders!
