Competitive Philosophy:
Varsity: The goal at this competitive level is to further advance
the student's sport skills, increase game knowledge and strategy and
enjoy the comraderie of his/her teammates while positively contributing
to the team effort. Students should expect to receive some playing
time in most games and understand playing time is not guaranteed and
will vary from game to game. The coaching staff will work to ensure
students have a positive experience and finish the season with a better
appreciation of the sport and teammates.
Jr. Varsity: The goal at this level is to have fun, learn and
practice basic sport skills and learn some strategy of the game. Players
attending practice should expect to play, as a general rule, about
33-50% of every game. |
